Last trip of the summer before school’s back in session.  We let the kids bring a pal this time, so Luce the Spruce Goose and Jamie joined us for end-of-summer frolicking.  Since they were new to Chicago, we re-visited some of the tourist hot spots (Navy Pier, Field/Shedd/Adler, Willis Tower, water taxi, etc.).  We had a ton of fun with this gang!

This was our first trip to the apartment we rented in Printers Row.  We got to take in a few fun things, like the Field Museum and walking around Navy Pier, but a good part of the trip was spent setting up the apartment.  We bought a couple of pieces of furniture in Memphis, so we loaded up the ol’ Clampett family wagon and headed north.  Read more →
